Rachel Johnson is a Los Angeles-based production designer and visual artist with a background in sculpture and installation art. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, she discovered her passion for production design while creating props for student films at Azusa Pacific University, where she earned her BFA in Visual Art with a minor in Film and Television Production. After several years working in the art department on award-winning short films and music videos, she completed her MFA in Production Design at the American Film Institute Conservatory. In 2021, Rachel was selected for the Art Directors Guild Production Design Initiative. Today, she brings her multidisciplinary experience to projects that merge storytelling and craftsmanship through graphic design, art direction, and set design.
